Meet Rich

A Lifelong Leader in Public Service

Once you meet me you will see why I am the best candidate to support the future of Southampton.

I’m very familiar with the challenges facing our town, I have spent my career in public service fighting to solve them. While others make promises, I have a proven record of delivering real results for families.

Deep Roots, Real Commitment.

I am a lifelong resident of New York, husband, and father who has dedicated his life to serving this community. I know that the future of our home, from our clean water to our kids’ futures to our local economy depends on effective, experienced leadership. I am running for Town Supervisor to continue that fight and use my hard-won expertise to tackle our toughest issues.

The Southampton Republican Committee has nominated Rich Carozza as its candidate for Southampton Town Supervisor in the November 2026 election. Carozza will challenge incumbent Maria Moore.

Rich brings more than 35 years of experience in Long Island politics, with a strong background in campaign strategy, fundraising, and party leadership at the local, state, and federal levels. A lifelong Long Island resident, he has built a distinguished career in real estate development and financial services, with expertise in financial planning, capital formation, real estate management, and site development.

Throughout his career, Rich has worked closely with municipal leaders across Long Island, including in the Town of Southampton, assisting with land use planning, zoning matters, and development initiatives. He continues to maintain active professional licenses in real estate, investments, mortgage banking, and insurance.

Rich holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Long Island University Post. He is a proud father to five adult children.

Rich is honored to receive the nomination of the Southampton Republican Committee and looks forward to bringing his experience, practical knowledge, and commitment to thoughtful, innovative solutions to serve the residents of Southampton.
